Well, here we are, only on day 25 (our youngest litter ever to be at this point) - and all pups have graduated from the big whelping pool and into the whelping pen in the living room.
The move was mostly facilitated by the fact that Mr. Leonardo da Vinci (such a prodigy - a real 'renaissance pup!') kept climbing right out of the big pool. I found him under the bed this morning after my shower, and that was that.
The first few minutes in the pen were stressful, with all that new space, but the pups quickly found their crate, climbed in and took a nap.
For those following our page on FB, I caught video of the first few minutes, and also the mass entry into the crate (also a first - many pups & litters take a day or two to start using the crate).
Here are a few final pics before they graduated out of the pool, some crate training time, and first meal in the new, spacious pen:
they are getting so big! seeing the picture of them all in the crate is reminding me of when we first met frankie! loving every single one of them!
