Horsetooth Whippets: 06/15/14 Olde Time Candy Litter Pupdates!

It's been a busy week with puppies - lots of new pics & developments. All of the OTC 1&2 puppies have open eyes, are walking around (ok-staggering around), and are eating solid puppy mash food. They also have TEETH!

The OTC 3 pups are gaining weight and doing the one-week-old-puppy routine of eating, sleeping, and nursing.

We know you're anxious to see new pics - so here we go:

OTC 3 - Nursing from top to bottom: Twizzler (tucked into her mama's legs), JuJubes, Clark Bar, Rolo. Sleeping to the side, from top to bottom: Squirrel Nut Zipper, Peppermint Patty, Twix. Accidental whippet segregation - all the reds are nursing, while all the brindles all sleeping.

Biggest & Smallest! Miss Dots (biggest puppy at this age we've ever had), and Twizzler (third smallest puppy we've ever whelped) - 2 weeks apart in age.

Papa Timmy taking a break on the couch. He and Daddy Jett are always very 'helpful' and involved during our nightly puppy weighing session. Actually, most of the pack gets involved. They want to sniff, lick, and inspect each pup multiple times, nose about around scale, and generally make themselves very useful. :)

Penelope is an amazingly dedicated mama dog. She stays with her puppies constantly - feeding, cleaning, snuggling, sleeping with them. Even 2 weeks in, we still have to convince her to get up to go potty, eat, drink, etc.!
