Pupdates! 08/12/14

Finally was able to pull some more pics to the blog (trouble transferring them lately)...

We love seeing how quickly all the pups are settling in, loving their grassy yards and new toys and couches, and being accepted by their resident dog families!  Great pics, folks - keep the updates a'coming!

Got a couple more new pics of OTC's in new homes!

First up, we have Peppermint Patty snuggling with Pooka & Lyra, her new whippet buddies.  Looks like the senior whippets have decided she can stay.  :)

Then a cute shot of Heath & True being couch potatoes!  - they know where all good whippets should spend a large part of their day.  :)

Pupdates 08/03/14

We've gotten some great pics of puppies in their new homes, as well as a few pics off the camera here before a few more have gone to new homes.   We're down to only Clark (leaving this coming Wednesday) and Zipper (leaving this coming Friday) and Dots (staying).

And next up - a very special pic of  Luigi (HT Morpheus of Zion) at a bike festival with his boy yesterday.  Luigi had a run-in with something toxic (maybe mushrooms?) that caused a severe neurological reaction earlier this week that landed him at the Emergency Vet's.  Just a reminder to all of us to keep an eye out for any mushrooms growing in our yards (get rid of them!), as well as keeping an eye out for anything else like dropped medications, or tainted dog food, etc.  There's a lot out there that can cause harm to our whippet babies!  We are just soooo glad to see he's back to being himself!

 Rolo - Now Chief -  hanging out on the rocks a few days before heading off to his new home.  The pups love to dig and tunnel under the rocks in our yard.  They seem to have a natural denning instinct for finding the moistest, coolest spots to sleep in the heat of the day!

Clark Bar and a bit of pineapple.  Ken tossed the top of a pineapple out in the yard earlier this week for the pooches to play with.  Both adult dogs and puppies alike thought it was the best biodegradable toy EVER!
