Puppy News:
They're here! Spicy & Bok Choy's litter (Olde Time Candy Theme pt. 3) arrived late last night and into early this morning.
After a long day of racing, I was looking forward to a bit of sleep, but Spicy had other plans:
9:45pm: "Twix" arrives. Brindle and White Parti marked female. Super flashy! 309 grams.
10:05pm: "Twizzler" - Red and female with cute little white markings on a dark red background. 239 grams.
10:27pm: "JuJubes" - Red and White Parti marked female - she's got a "Y" on her neck! 357 grams.
10:40pm: "York Peppermint Patty" - Extreme White female with Brindle head, side, and tail patches. Gonna be a looker! 345 grams.
10:55pm: "Squirrel Nut Zipper" - Brindle and White Parti marked female with a 'zipper' across her hips. 333 grams.
11:07pm: "Clark Bar" - Red and White Parti marked male - he's got a really cool, tiny blaze up his face. 343 grams.
2:05am: "Rolo" - Extreme White and Red boy with head and side patches. 321grams.

We've also got some nice new pics of OTC1 & OTC2 pups. It's amazing how big they seem compared to the new little ones! All of OTC1 litter have their eyes open now; and Dots of the OTC2 opened hers this morning. :)

Bella's pups are having their first day of litter training. However, the milkbar clearly remains their point of focus!
Horsetooth Racing News:
Last but not least, Jen had a blast with 7 of the Horsetooth Whippets doing NAWRA racing yesterday down in Falcon, CO at the Zoiboys ranch. Big shout out to future puppy parent Paul and Viv, and to my mom for coming out and helping. I couldn't have done it without you!
This was Bok Choy and Alfredo's first racing event, and Johnson's first straight track event (he's only run the oval before). All the dogs had fun, and daddy Bok Choy took sixth place in a field of 15 dogs, and won the "Fastest First-time-entered" prize.
Other Horsetooth racing stats from yesterday:
5th place: Feynman
7th place: Fermi
8th place: Lychee
This put ALL 4 of our Penelope puppies in the top 10 placements for the day. Woohoo!!!
