Gangsters 3.5 weeks

The Gangster pups are playing much more, though they still sleep much more than they're awake - that will change soon!

They've now been introduced to their second protein source - lamb - and they LOVED it.  Next up, they'll try beef with tripe (stinky, but so great for their little GI tracts).

They're just beginning to use their litterboxes on their own every once in a while, but mostly still have to be monitored a LOT and put in the boxes to use them reliably.  As per normal at this age, the boys are more likely to use them right when they get put into them...the girls climb out and look for a better place to 'go do their business'....that will flip-flop soon, usually around 4 weeks of age.  :)

They also became absolute EXPERT escape artists over the last few days - even with the bigger pool with its higher sides - so, the inner lining has been removed to keep them from scaling over so easily, and now they've become enamored with looking at the fish on the sides of the pool...even at this young age, puppies recognize faces/eyes - even in cartoon pool fish!

Ok - on to some pics!

Happy Mom, full pups.

Lyla is so proud of them!
